Job Overview
The role of the Intermediate Interior Designer is a full-time position. The candidate should be a passionate and knowledgeable connoisseur of interior design and have a thorough understanding of high-end residential homes and luxury condominiums. The candidate should be an outgoing leader and have a positive attitude. This position will offer the opportunity to work with some of the most successful and affluent homeowners and business people across the country and internationally.
Qualifications
i. Degree in Interior Design
ii. Skilled in developing hand-drawings and sketches of design ideas
iii. Passionate self-educator with a discerning eye for design
iv. Well organized problem solver
v. Minimum 5-10 years of experience working with the following project types: high end single-family residential, multi-unit residential, and hospitality, including restaurant
vi. A high-level of skill in Revit is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of Adobe Suite is a requirement
vii. Fluent in current design trends, products, and resources
viii. Personable with good verbal communication skills
Key Responsibilities
i. Lead the design of projects in collaboration with the Principal
ii. Preparation of Design Development drawings, Tender and Construction Documents, Specifications
iii. Product sourcing
iv. Furniture and millwork design
v. Shop drawing review
vi. Prepare and manage FF&E budgets, and coordinate and oversee procurement, inspection, installation, and styling of items
vii. Liaise with consultants, suppliers, and trades
viii. Prepare sample and presentation boards
ix. Prepare illustrations and renderings
x. Sketch and develop design concepts and strategies
xi. Assist with construction administration activities, shop drawing review, field reviews, and site instructions
