The firm is looking for a Intern Architect to join their growing team.
This position is an important support role in the office where you will provide valuable assistance to the Project Manager, and produce design and technical drawings throughout each phase of a project.
i. Masters degree in Architecture
ii.Minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant post graduate experience in the production of architectural drawings from Schematic Design through to Construction Administration
iii. High-level of skill in REVIT, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Microsoft Office applications, and 3D rendering software
iv. Experienced in the production of high quality renderings and presentation materials
v. Multi-unit and single-family residential experience required. Experience in other building types and interiors an asset.
vi. Knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and other applicable laws
vii. Understanding of building science and detailing
viii. Strong hand drawing skills required
ix. Well organized problem solver
i. Support the Project Manager in the design of the project, and preparation of Schematic and Design Development drawings, Tender and Construction Documents, and Specifications using Revit
ii. Sketch and develop design concepts and strategies
iii. Coordinate with consultants
iv. Assist with construction administration activities, including shop drawing review, field reviews, and site instructions
