50-90 Eglinton Avenue West is a proposed 49 and 46-storey mixed-use development just west of Yonge Street. At the heart of the design is the historic Toronto Hydro Electric System building, a 1920s landmark in the Renaissance Revival style. The project carefully preserves its century-old facades while introducing a contemporary two-story podium with retail and amenity spaces. Inspired by Renaissance Revival architecture, the new design reinterprets classic elements through the lens of Human Architecture, ensuring a seamless integration of past and present while enhancing the character of the surrounding neighbourhood.
